The Pulp Lab Portrait Studio is a pop portraiture collaboration with international emerging artists. We aim to inspire style, art, and culture through our Web store, storefront, and mobile ephemeral events, which showcase our featured projects in an ever-changing gallery/retail environment.
Pop Art defined the look of the 1960s. Blurring the boundaries between high' and 'low' culture was seen as subversive, but it also had rapid, widespread appeal. Pop Art elevated portraiture to a new, pre-eminent position.

December Art Wak installation
As the snow started to fall on Saturday night we rolled out our film installation for the "Ghosts in the Garden" collection. The "skull and butterfly" image created by Sage Vaughn was animated by Seattle artist Victor Shergill for Pulp Lab. The film ran overnight so that visitors walking around Ballard for art walk could view the installation of the dresses and film from the street -- in all its ghostly glory
Pulp Lab + Seattle City Stimulus:: December 4-7th

Pulp Lab + Seattle City Stimulus
City Stimulus is a grass-roots event to celebrate small businesses and reward buyers who shop local. Our first event will take place in Seattle with a 4-day "pub crawl" of Downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill & South Lake Union restaurants, bars and retailers.
Go to CityStimulus.com to download your free membership.
As a participating retailer, Pulp Lab is offering a gift with all purchases over $45 from Dec 6th-7th. (Hint: It's something cool and useful and kind of old-school in this digital age...would make a good gift for others...found only at Pulp!) We'll also be serving Pom Mimosas on Saturday as part of our December in-store festivities.
Sustainability is not just about the foods you eat or purchasing organic produce- it's about the social, cultural and economic success of our community. Local businesses support artists & builders, farmers & cooks, designers & bankers. They provide the food, products and services that form our rich and varied cultural fabric.
Thank you Seattle Magazine
